in very good condition. The cast base and movement surround feature scrolls and fleur-de-lis; note you gently separate the pendulum movement from the base to wind it (small key is still there). Inside the globe is a cup for a candle. The globe is marked France, but appears to be more recent than the clockÖ.it fits fine and is appropriate for the clock. Globe rotates once in twelve hours and a pointer indicates the time; clean and running briskly. Height 7"
