Description

Imposing longcase by John Cowell of Royal Exchange, London, with 12 melody musical movement on 13 bells, in burr maple case with mahogany featuring - 86" high and in good condition. Cleaned and restored movement. Authoritively identified as made by J. Ellicott, who uniquely created and made the method of driving the musical movement. Not for the small flat - but an impressive piece! English c1780
