Description
Porcelain case, brass movement; porcelain dial, 12" tall by 9 1/2" wide; condition: excellent with home made rear cover-chips around rear opening-covered by door. Dutch country scenes complete with wind mills a lake with sail boat a small Dutch village etc. The case is totally free of cracks or chips except on the rim of the rear opening where there are a couple of rim chips. These are covered by the round metal door so we discount them as if non-existant. The back cover was made by a clever craftsman and fits the case well but is not the original cover. The front porcelain dial is totally free of breaks or hairlines. Our master clockmaker has just totally adjusted cleaned and oiled the mechanism to assure perfect operation and strike on the hours and once every half hour.
