Description
Solid walnut case with thick yellow pine backboard. Primitive case style with lenticle in the waist for viewing the swinging pendulum bob. Has thirty-hour weight driven movement with "rack and snail" striking at the hour on a very large bell. All original except the dial has been touched up and and hands and rosettes replaced. 7' 11' tall. Additional keywords: longcase, tallcase, grandfather
