Description
Rosewood veneer case with reverse painted door glasses and hand decorated dial painting; brass movement and cast iron weights. 32" tall x 18" wide; condition: There is a small amount of chipping around the winding holes. The door glass painting has the expected amount of flaking which seems to disappear when the doors are closed (it's dark inside the case) so the missing paint areas blend into the remaining design-and it looks really good in spite of it. The movement is clean and running perfectly. The dial is colorful and the boldly grained rosewood veneer adds to the overall look of this big and beautiful clock. There is sone veneer chipping along the bottom of the case. Alarm ring retained without alarm mechanism. 100 percent original components dial and case.
