A carved walnut musical automaton Swiss chalet with clock . 8-day French movement with hour and half hour strike on a bell and music box sitting in base of clock. Two doors opening on the hour revealing male and female musicians.Circa 1880. The case is in carved walnut and is in a very original undamaged state. 19" x 24" x 12"
