Description
(originally had a weight movement), now with a shorter spring driven movement, and top from yet a third clock (and the sides cut off to fit). Although there are some nicks and scrapes in the case, it is not bad. Note the original movement was mounted about 2 inches higher and the false top to the door has been added. This clock came to us from a collector who bought it on eBay_, and although many nice things are to be found on the eBay site, this is an example of a buyer not asking enough questions. No gong; well made movement; decent parts. Height 48" $175-275
