Description

movement in a new Hungarian 2nd Baroque case. We looked at this long and hard and the carving is exceptional and 100 years from now, no-one will know the difference. When you shine a flash light down the seam along the back you can see that the side stretchers are newly cut, and there is no dirt nor fly specs on the case. Has a nice match engraved dial center, pendulum and weights. If this clock were all original, it would be worth $2000, and we are basing our estimate on the value of the movement set-up and a new case. If the lack of originality does not bother you, this is a very good looking clock. Height 47" $700-900
