Description

A large late 19th century gilt bronze French clock. The finely chiselled case with maidens to sides surmounted by an urn with draping ormolu swags. The 8-day French movement with hour and half hour strike on a bell. The back door of this clock is engraved "Antony Bailly" à LYON which was possibly we feel the owner or some kind of presentation. 25" x 15" x 7"
