Description

An unusual large English Victorian rosewood bracket clock with original bracket. The 3 train fusee movement of substantial form with quarter striking on 8 bells and hour strike on a gong, contained within a finely figured rosewood case with brass stringing and corinthian columns rested on ormolu capped toupie feet. The dial with a finely matted centre silvered chapter ring and 3 subsidiary rings surrounded by winged cherub spandrels. 44" (incl. Bracket) x 18" x 10"
