Large English George III impressive flame mahogany Moonroller longcase, with fan shell satinwood inlay, cross and feather banding in a Gothic case. Blind fretwork to case. Reeded Corinthian columns with matching reeded Corinthian columns to hood. Surmounted by two plaster roses. 14" brass dial movement with inside date hand and central seconds hand. Deadbeat escapement. Painted moonroller in break arch. Engraved plague "Peter Fearnley of Wigan Tempest Fugit". Circa 1790. 100" x 18" x 9" Additional keywords: longcase, tallcase, grandfather
