Description
A fine gilt ormolu and bronze First Empire French mantel clock with a bronze figure of Napoleon standing resting his arm on a rock besides a canon and ball at his feet. The bottom section to the case is engraved with Napoleons victories. 8-day movement with hour and half hour strike on a bell. This clock is in very original condition and still retains the original mercury gilding with lots of burnishing. 22" x 14" x 5"
