Description

Probably made by the German company Winterhälder und Hoffmier (Dealer states he had one the same years ago with the W and H stamp). The movement is unusual in having 2 winding holes but strikes and chimes, a cam being used to move the pin barrel for striking the hour. The case is solid oak carved in the classical taste and fitted with a brass dial with a separate engraved silvered brass chapter ring. This clock has been fully restored. Height is approx. 17".
