in a later mahogany box. This clock runs briskly and is very clean, last overhauled in the early 1980s. These run two days on a winding; with up-down indication on the dial; they are powered via chain and fusee, and with 14 jewels. This particular clock was made under contract by Hamilton for the U.S. Navy, and is number (28)1880. Note these clocks wind to the left. Height 7" $900-1200
