Description

carrying a load of clocks on his back and one in his right arm that actually works. Most of these were made by the Karl Griesbaum company. Small 30 hour timepiece with short wag pendulum; note village scene in arch of dial. The bonus on this clock is that the little clocks on his back all have hand painted dials, not printed cards that were put on many post-war models. Whistles and runs OK; note peddler wearing overcoat with knee pants and bulky knit socks. Generally excellent condition; Height 12" $1200-1600
