Description
This clock has been lovingly dusted every week, and most of the gilding is rubbed off down to the red sizing. I would not try to re-gild it at this point, as it has a lot of character. The original Perry"s Victory tablets are excellent. Herschede made their own banjo movement, drawing heavily from the Waltham design, with maintaining power and Geneva stopwork. Their signature is boldly stamped in the center of the front plate of the movement. This clock bears the original dial signature of a Cleveland retailer: "The Cowell and Hubbard Co.' Overall very good condition; Height 42'
