Description
This clock has a well made Kienzle solid plate movement with cut pinions and dead beat escapement. The porcelain dial has a couple of minor hairlines, and a center with the hours 13-24 fired into the porcelain in red. It has a radical geometric pendulum of deco style. The case has been varnished over lightly long ago and that is quite dirty and crazed. Still everything there appears original and it should clean up OK; strikes the hours and halves on a straight steel rod; old dry split at top of door; small post that holds on top has been replaced and should be remade.
