for the French market.The movement itself is a 30-hour open spring job (ticks fine), but this clock was sold for its artistic appeal. See the bright gold tulips and soft flowing lines so typical of the Noveau movement (one with slight wear from dusting). The porcelain is white and we tried shooting it against black, but it looked dead; it is better looking than the image. Each candelabra with holders for 5 candles, and with bases and feet matching the clock; note both snuffers are present. Height 23" Reserve $700
