Description

The case and movement are unsigned, however, the lever movement is of high quality. A gear from the movement meshes with the inside glass of the dial causing the single hand to rotate every 12 hours. There was a thin dust ring around the rear bezel to hide the gear and keep dust out of the movement, and that is absent. The case is of ebonized wood, and the bezel has a dry split on the left that has been glued a few times. Still, this is an unusual clock, and can be bought for far less than the models made 100 years earlier. Lighter set of numerals in photo are shadow from the flash going through the dial. Height 11" Reserve $1650
