Description
This is a well made clock in the Alt Deutsch style. The old top looks perfect on this clock, but is not original; has been glued and nailed on. Center finial has been broken off and reglued. The silvered dial is slightly oxidized, but the numerals are still clear, plus has 13-24 numbers as well. Well made square movement with rod strike. I have not seen a Sun Burst pendulum on this era wall clock before, but it appears to be original (with central bust and flowing hair). Stabilizer bases there, but stabilizers missing; overall very good. Signed on movement, dial, bracket and gong. Height 39" Reserve $400
