Description
with restoration, as-found. The movement of this clock was cleaned may be 20 years ago by "assembled immersion" and is very gummy. You can eek a "tick" out of it and the springs are both still good. The walnut case has been refinished, is missing a straight molding across the door, and the top trim is new, of solid walnut, and a bit too small for the clock. The well made solid plate movement has cut pinions and bears serial number 1,888,605 plus Becker's medal of honor. The floral pattern on the pendulum matches the dial center. With label of Max Busse, Uhrmacher, Berlin. Will respond to restoration. Height 34" $350-450
