Description
Typical of several offerings of miniature clocks, this one utilizes a watch movement, adapted to a clock case. Hebdomas used their rugged 8-day lever movement with exposed balance on the dial (very eye catching). The porcelain dial is perfect, with applied gold leaves and minute markers, the Roman chapter in cobalt blue. The movement is wound and set via the "stem" above 12. Runs. The rolled brass case depicts lovers on both sides and the rear, the original gilding with some wear. Height 4" $500-600
