in the Alt Deutsch style. This is an attractive case with original finish and finials (eagle is a replacement). The small cylinder music box and time movement are attached to another spacer of walnut that is screwed to the backboard, so we are unsure if the movement is original. These points aside, it seems to run fine, and plays a delightful tune on the hour. Note the music box is driven by the large "strike" spring, rather than a separate movement and is really rather ingenious. Height 39" $400-500
