Description
The gilded spelter case is made of two symmetrical halves that are screwed together, and the finish is dirty and worn. The monk retains his original paint (with wear); his right arm is hinged and with a cord going up to the alarm bell. A lever from the movement rings the bell and moves his arm at the same time, with the appearance that he is ringing the bell. With a perfect porcelain dial, One day pendulette movement lacks loop on time winder; we swapped keys to make sure it runs; alarms, but needs adjusting. An interesting novelty; worth taking time to clean movement; height 14'
