Description
The cello covered dial is dark from oil and needs a modern acetate covered replacement. The glue joint between the main top board and the sides has failed, so that when it is hanging, the door is difficult to open. Some glue and an hours drying time will solve that. Otherwise this is a large "springer' wall regulator with lots of decorative look. Retains original top, featuring a winged cherub. Striking on a gong. Movement needs cleaning. See also lot 625.
