Description
This is a very high quality clock; the chime movement is an auxiliary, siamesed to the top of the strike movement and wound through the numeral 12. Both movements are finished to a high standard, and each bears the LFS trademark, as does the double iron gong base in the rear of the case (one set of gongs for the chine, a second going the other direction for the strike). The walnut case is well made with finely carved trim on top and bottom, and with a heavy plate of beveled glass in the door. About as good as it gets for a Westminster wall clock; Height 44" $400-600
