Description

The 2 horns that should extend from the bottom of the reed chambers are missing, so it sounds more like a 2 note organ instead of a trumpeter. Note these horns can be made of brass, tinned steel or even cardstock and I've seen all 3, however you should plan to make these. It also appears that there was a leafy crest on the top, and the numeral VII is lacking too. On the plus side, everything remaining is original, including the hands, numerals, pendulum and the trumpeter figure. Heavy cast plate movement is signed: "G.H.S.", and runs briskly. With only modest attention, this clock can be nicely restored; height 22" Reserve $1250
