Description
Interestingly, the title (cast into the base) translates to "The Grape", while it is clear that cherubic angel is presenting the lady with a whole basket full of freshly picked grapes. The well made round French movement is signed Societe Clusienne, and with matching number pendulum. The porcelain dial is good and with a small floral decoration. All pieces set on dark pink veined marble, the clock base with a small chip at the right front corner. The patinated bronze over white metal finish has some wear in the high spots but is overall in very good condition; one small break on the lip of the left urn (both pieces there). Height 14 " Reserve $550
