Description
This is the original that New Haven copied with a brass case instead of china. (See lots 405 and 413). The well made round French movement has a short pivoted pendulum, but more important has a skeletonized front plate, so that the escape and gears are visible in viewing the clock. Note movement is dirty and requires service, but will respond well to cleaning. Diameter of case is 8", overall length 21" Modest reserve $250
