Description
with Limoge type panels on either side, and profusely decorated case, top and bottom and with portrait pendulum. The fellow who consigned this clock bought it in a hurry from a fast talking salesman who failed to mention that the movement was from another French clock and the dial plate had been soldered in order to adapt it to this case. The pendulum does match the case and a second slot has been filed to meet the crutch. The case is beautiful, but you will have to budget for improving the dial plate or finding another movement altogether. Worth $3500 if correct; runs. Height 15" $2000-2500
