Description
Diamond Black Leather Oil, A similar clock may be seen in the book Baird Advertising Clocks, by Jerry Maltz, (1998) pictured on page 79. Chicago clocks came at the end of Baird's career , were made for less than a year, and few survive. This dial has some rust and water stain, but there has been no attempt to restore it, nor the lower panel (good!!). The case itself has been refinished to a maple color and is quite attractive; a couple of screws have been added to help hold it together. The original label has darkened a bit from being varnished over, but is still intact and legible. Overall this is a very good example of this model; Height 29" Res: $1500
