Description
This is a well made clock with some minor items that need attention. There is a dry split in the perimeter molding at top, the original finish is a bit dull from neglect; and the black wax in the engraved chapter ring is starting to fail.. The bonus is a large triple chain fusee movement, chiming the quarters (Westminster tune) on heavy coiled wire gongs. The front beveled glass sets in a brass frame. The silvered dial with subsidiary rings in the arch for Fast/Slow and Chime/Silent. Lots of potential; height 14'
