Description
with 2 jacks in the belfry. This is a rare Victorian clock, only the second I've seen in 25 years. Case retains nice aged patina, gilt and copper over spelter caseŠ. it is quite attractive. The movement has just been professionally cleaned, and when the clock strikes, BOTH jacks rotate and release smartly to hit the central bell with large hammers. The actual bell sound comes from a bell attached to the movement, but you would never know this to watch it on the mantle. See close-up of jack. Overall excellent. Height 19" Reserve $3100
