Description

Note the movement is NOT original to this case, but is of the proper period; there is an extra set of mounting holes in the back and also a º inch shim under the bracket. There are two places on the door where veneer chips have been filled in with shellac. These points aside, this is a very good looking 3-weight, with matched embossed and gilded dial center, weights and pendulum, with original gilding in excellent condition. Note also white porcelain chapter ring with stylized Arabic numerals. Becker pulleys also intact. If this were all original, I would have predicted $3500. Runs; height 49'
