carriage alarm, as-found. This little clock is in the same category as the little Terry Clock Co. alarms, in that it has a pivoted pendulum fixed to the movement, with a threaded bob for adjustment. The once elegant wooden case with brass edging and feet had finely painted decorations which an amateur tried to outline with gold paint (needs further attention). Porcelain dial with touch-up at 10 and 3; minute hand improper. Still ticks and alarms. Would be $500 if original. Ht, handle up 6" $125-225
