Description

The 4 upright pillars are actually cannon, a ball at the muzzle of each, and a larger cannon ball on the base, center. At the very top of the carriage framework are a pair of cavalry spurs, you can just make out the jagged wheels at the apex. The pendulum of the clock is a bronze horse at full run. The well made bell strike movement is marked EGP, and number 259, complete and sound, but would benefit from service. The whole on a shaped and molded ebonized wood base with brass ball feet. Height 16" Reserve $1600
