Description

This is another Industry Series clock we've not seen. On the base you have a clock, barometer, and compass. Note the barometer dial and lens have been replaced; the workings are old. The globe shows minor wear and perhaps some old touch up, but is overall very good with fine detail; it is signed E. Bertaux, Editeur, Rue Serpente 25, Paris. I do not recognize the machine tools displayed, but the stand for the globe sets atop a threaded tower with a 2 handled spanner nut, and the clock movement ROTATES THE GLOBE once per day. Movement with platform is running. Height 15" Reserve $5000
