The well made gong striking movement has the vertical jig saw connected to, and forming part of the pendulum, giving the illusion of "sawing" up and down as the clock runs. This clock retains original components and has been professionally refinished and restored; minor nicks in black marble base have been buffed; brass has been plated with silver, copper and yellow gold; overall excellent.
