Description

in very good condition. This uncommon clock, also by Farcot, is serial number 17850, slightly earlier than above clock, and interestingly bears the printed ad on the paper dial: Reviel a Marche Silencieuse, which freely translates to silent running alarm. The movement is one day with separate alarm and time trains. Unlike the gazebo affair in the previous lot, the pendulum is suspended from a cast lyre which surrounds the main case, the whole supported on a cast iron base (base repainted and center stud renewed). Runs and alarms; Height 10 inches Reserve $800
