Description
The platform lever movement drives the horizontal chapter rings in a circular motion, while the "hand' is a fixed pointer in the cherub"s hand. All of the ormolu trim has been recently gilded, and there are two repairs to the top beading, also there is a small "filling' repair along the top edge of the urn that is only noticeable on close inspection. Still this is a rare clock, and a welcome addition if you do not already have an annular dial clock. Height 10'
