the brass case heavily silvered (oxidized), with gilt trim (the gilding with wear).Retains original paper dial with some blemishes. The movement in this model has a duplex (double toothed) escape wheel. The "prisms" of the lighthouse lantern double as the balance of the movement and turn briskly back and forth, catching your eye. The winding square extends through the bottom of the case, and you lift the clock for access. This clock runs a while and stops. Overall good+ condition; Height 12" Reserve $1750
