Description

Note that after 1900, Gilbert changed this case to appear as the No. 11, simplifying the top and widening it. The only place I could find this one properly displayed was Ehrhardt"s Book 1, page 24. This case has been refinished and the walnut stain is a bit on the brown side; could use some cherry or burnt umber to liven it up (a judgement call). The old weight is from a Seth Thomas, but looks and works fine; dial is freshly papered; rest of hardware is original. This movement is the same as Regulators 4-5-6, winding a 2 with center hung weight. Runs well. Height 53'
