Description

for the French market. Interestingly, this clock belonged to a lawyer in New York, and in 1970 he wrote NAWCC about its origin. With the clock is a handwritten reply from former president Earl Strickler telling him that H.A.C. was founded by Paul Landenberger, son-in-law of Erhard Junghans. A worn photo taken in 1970 shows that two top trim buttons and the two lower finials have been missing for at least 30 years. Movement sound but would benefit from service. Wooden dial and porcelain numerals are perfect; height 23" $225-325
