Description
There is NO top, and top left return molding is missing. There are quite a few wood worm holes in the case. The well made movement is complete and sound, serial number 505716; note this is a ROD strike unit, and with original rods in the case. However, the rods were hitting the picture frame molding in the case back and a workman chipped grooves in the molding to let the rods pass through (this is unsightly and will need attention). Note attractive finials with circular grooves at 45° angle. Weights are NEW. Height 40 inches Movement alone should be worth the reserve of $500
