Description
This clock is as-found and in need of work. The dial was broken and reglued, and with small chip missing. The center shaft has broken off at the pin hole and the arbor peened over to hold the hand on. The impulse pin is missing from the crutch. The movement is otherwise complete, all wheels turning. Suspension spring is too long. Lastly the mounting bracket is not original to the movement and the studs have been relocated to accommodate the holes in the rear plate; pulleys taped to case; weights new (not pictured). The case has been varnished over with dark varnish. Although this would fall into the "major restoration" class, it has a good look, all finials are present and our reserve price should tempt the handy workman, even for the case alone.
