in the Viennese style. This is a GREAT looking clock with original carved top and finish. And it has a well made Gustav Becker movement, serial number 396688. However, this is the second movement in the case, and there is an extra set of holes in the case back. Although such a change bothers the purist, these cases were all the same basic dimensions, and any standard 80 beat German movement will operate perfectly in the case. Movement retains original hands, pendulum, and early brass roller winding crank. Right case glass is loose (not broken) and needs attaching; there are hairlines on the dial visible on close inspection. Height 48" $500-700
