Description
Someone used a key too large for the F/S stud and cracked the porcelain dial (piece glued back on), and replaced the hands with a pair of American New Haven style; needs a spacer under the minute hand to keep the hour wheel from moving forward, off the end of the reduction pinion. These shortcomings aside, the clock has a decent look and seems to run and strike (on a bell). The case has no nicks, nor cracks; the gilt highlights are worn from dusting. In original condition, these attract a lot of interest; our estimate reflects the restorations here; height 16'
