Description
The dial has several chips and hairlines, but is still legible; suspension spring has failed ($2). The clock is otherwise quite impressive, with brass and shell inlay on all front surfaces, and every edge accented with gilt brass repousse` trim. Has a quality Japy bell strike movement, original to the case, running but dusty and in need of cleaning. Note fine pressed vine trim on all 4 barley twist columns. Height 20 inches Reserve $500
