Description
This is basically a good clock that needs some work - cleaning and gluing. The pin that holds the hands on is sheared off in place and needs drifting out. The movement and bracket are original to the case, serial 56314. There are half dozen small trim moldings missing from the tu-tone case (walnut with black accents). Finally the pendulum has a few small dents that detract. On the positive side, it has been running and striking here in the office, and should respond well to basic restoration. (Suggest replacing the nylon filament with woven dacron). The porcelain chapter ring is excellent; center with minor hairlines. Original weights, pulleys and hands. Height 49" Reserve $550
