Description
The silver has a wavy damascene pattern that reflects through the opalescent light blue enamel. The case hardware is silver (excluding movement and dial), with some oxidation.. The urn is attached to an octagon of white marble as a base. These clocks were popular gifts in Central Europe during the late 19th Century, and are really a work of art. Some folks say they look like decorated eggs. The hand painted pansies on this one are exceptional; time only. Height 7º'
